what we do

A rustic adventure camp in the rural jungle of Nicaragua, Ruby Ranch has been created as a beautiful refuge and place of hope for children and youth living in extreme poverty in the slums and trash dump communities throughout Nicaragua.

We help serve and lead missions teams, camps and VBS for children and youth, and host leadership and discipleship retreats alongside our ministry partner and friend, Brinson Buzbee. .

The heart and mission for Ruby Ranch is to see lives forever changed though personal encounters with Jesus.

It truly is such an incredibly beautiful place and we are honored to be a part of the ministry of Ruby Ranch. We invite you to come and see!

Several indigenous Miskito villages on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua were completely devastated by two back-to-back major hurricanes in 2020.

We partnered with a team of local missionaries to help bring food and disaster relief to thousands of families displaced from the hurricanes.

Your generosity helped us provide over 100,000 pounds of food, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, clean water filters, roofing tin and building materials. We were able to build over 20 new homes for families who lost everything.

House building projects are on-going throughout Nicaragua as funds and building teams are available.

Access to safe, clean water is truly life-changing!

Many people in Nicaragua live without running water in their homes. Some rely on water trucks to deliver water to them each week, filling every spare barrel and bucket that they have. We’ve seen children drinking from muddy, contaminated water puddles in the street, and families collecting water from the same dirty rivers that their cows and pigs drink from.

Our “Go to the Well” water project raised funds to provide a clean water well for two remote villages of over 80 families. Every single day, the women and girls from these communities hiked to collect water from a small, contaminated spring. That dirty water was used for drinking, cooking, bathing, and washing their clothing. Now they have a well right inside their village, giving them access to fresh, clean, safe water whenever they want it.

Clean water … what an incredible gift.

And such a beautiful parallel to the free gift of hope and new life that Jesus offers us. He is the LIVING WATER for our souls.
